Who do we work with? We have great clients like Apple Computer, Ideo, Toyota Motors, REI, and Gensler Architects. We are lucky enough to deal with some of the leading designers in Architecture and Interior Design fields. From concept to marketing, we assist at all stages of architectural projects dealing with anything and everything: retail, libraries, hospitals, night clubs, hotels, condos, private residential renovations, and even airports. . .

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Our senior project manager will typically do the following tasks:

? The heart of the job: Manage and monitor the project from A to Z. This includes attention to small details to catch and address any issues that arise that could possibly derail the project from the right track. Identify and fix issues to keep things running smoothly, and everyone happy. Schedule, traffic, maintain deadlines, and communicate and resolve any obstacles that would prevent delivering on schedule.
? Paperwork, paperwork: Estimate all project costs, scopes of services, fees, contracts, time sheets, billing and collections and coordinate with internal or client contacts for any of these issues, like Accounts Payable/Billing, HR, etc. to make sure all formal processes are completed correctly. This is important but not too time-consuming of your work (usually only at the beginning and the end of a project).
? Represent Transparent House: You are the face of Transparent House to the clients so you want to give them the best impression at all times. You?ll be on the phone, on email, or meeting face-to-face with clients on a daily basis. You?ll need to give them reason to love our work and our professionalism and keep coming back to work with us again.

REQUIREMENTS:

? CV/Experience ? The candidate should have 5+ years of project management experience and wish to deal with clients directly, organize and manage projects independently, and a strong client satisfaction orientation. Pricing negotiation, time sheets, project schedules, and client service calls/emails should not be completely foreign to you. Background working with Architecture, Project Management, Sales, or Business Development, especially in a Design or Tech field, is a plus.
? Start-Up Type ? Self-starter, entrepreneurial personality with strong desire to work in start-up environment. Your regular input to improving company processes and moving the company towards more success is part of the job.
? Communication ? Excellent verbal/writing skills. Outgoing and confident communicator with excellent oral and written English skills for daily email, phone, and in-person meetings and preparation of diverse written documents.
? Personality ? ?People? person with good sense of humor and easy-going, upbeat personality that puts others at ease and motivates other employees. Pleasant to be around. Enthusiasm and charisma transfers to others.
? Professionalism ? Assertive, professional business manner, and self-confident in all business interactions. Ability to negotiate and close deals and stay calm and focuses even in high-stress situations like dealing with demanding clients and rush schedules.
? Interest and Motivation ? The candidate should definitely have a love for Architecture, and Design and be interested in developing and expanding his or her knowledge of these fields and staying current on the latest industry news. He or she should want to understand the basics of the 3d visualization process and how we create awesome renderings and animations for some of the industry?s top architects, developers, and designers.
? Computer Skills ? Ability to easily comprehend new software programs and solve computer problems (within a reasonable level) without assistance. You don?t have to be a ?techie? but you definitely won?t work well if you haven?t used a computer daily on your job before. Daily use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Outlook or other email programs, Adobe Products (Acrobat, Photoshop) with. Knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk 3ds Studio Max, Google Sketchup, and any other architectural or 3d software a plus.
